  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

More silence from me...

The reasons I changed my mind and upgraded are color (much better in the full exposure, and not so much a matter of "fat spot"), how it burns out (which is pretty lovely) and the noise (sorry, I like Dragon noise a lot better)

DR and 6k are bonuses in my book.

Was kinda impossible to go back after working with it for a while.

Gunleik, these images are truly beautiful in their "simplicity". Do you ask the people on the street before you take their picture? Or even talk to them for a longer time? And also if you don't mind sharing what is your methodology? How long are your takes - shooting motion for stills - or are these shot for motion and pulled stills as a side product?
Also: which lenses do you use when traveling? :)

THX!

These two are actually my parents, so they knew I was shooting them.
There is a story behind, but that's not for reduser really.

As to talking to people or not. Usually I do, or at least communicate with them (if the language doesn't allow for a real conversation).
The Dragon is small, but not really mobile-phone descreet.... :)

But if I shoot "crowds", not.

Takes: Depends on opportunity. But usually when I shoot stills, I shoot for stills.
I do a lot of "not so loose" shooting. Doing stills is a very welcome variation to that.

Lenses...

Have mostly used B-speeds, superspeeds, standard-speeds or Canon/Nikon glass.

Of course I have my old Jenas, too.

Usually I try to pack light. One wide and one longer. (if I am out for stills).

Thanks Gunleik! I was mostly talking about the "street photography" but the more perfectly set up images as the ones of your parents are equally beautiful.
