  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

MEIZLER MODULE - Sneak Peak

What about the Quad / Dual Battery Modules, If you use those can you not use this becaues it has a batter solution built in already?

It's easy enough to purchase RED Bricks and chargers but I am kinda digging the fact that I can be on forever with the Quad Battery Module.

One would assume it attaches to the rear of the battery module, at least. But I still don't get the draw to the quad battery module anyway.

The Meizler Module stands alone.

If you want something else.. you need to build something else with the other modules.

I havent had time / reliable internet on set for browsing reduser because we have been out on location in Barstow for the past few days. I dont think I could have come back to a more exciting post.

I WANT TWO RIGHT NOW, AND I DONT EVEN REALLY OWN A CAMERA, I JUST WANT THEM FOR THE ONES I WORK ON.

If D Tap sucks so bad, why not change it to something RED worthy? ;) it's just bad that theres so much accessory stuff running off of it. You perfected stuff like the mounts of other manufacturers. Maybe you can resolve the d tap shortcomings? ;)

hehe. Thought about that post, too! Could very well be true. But knowing what RED can pull of, it also could be something totally different! I guess we will just have to continue to hold onto our seats.

I apologise if I have missed the answers elsewhere but for clarity can you answer these 2 questions:

With the Meizler can we (either with the inclusion of another 'bit' or on its own) run both the touch screen and the Vf at he same time?

Is there def no way to run the Pro I/O with Meizler module??

I am very happy about this and will probably buy one, but when will we see other modules? I also really want to buy the pro IO module.
