Has anyone upgraded yet to 10.9.5 from 10.9.4 yet and if so what has been your results so far?

Im right in the middle of a 5 week feature and I don't want to mess things up any further as its been working on 10.9.4 on my nMacPro 12 core, 64gb ram with Dual 700's.

Thanks.

Rule of thumb is to stick with the version you're working on until the project is finished. If everything is working fine in the middle of it, why take the risk? The New OS doesn't bring any improvements to your workflow, only potential problems. Finish your project and give a couple of weeks or a month for the issues to be ironed out by others!

What Sergio said.

Any potentially workflow-affecting upgrading is better left avoided during a project.

im assuming nobody has tried to see if yosemite is compatible with Abobe's CC yet- right?

No issues with Rockets/RCX/FCPX/Resolve/Mocha/Adobe's products so far... Just Microsoft Office went down with a bunch of errors, might have an old version though :)
Welcome to the new hipster interface... Anti-3D kind of thing. Just kidding ;)

Atto R380 driver install failure

Atto R380 driver install failure

The Raid went missing right after upgrading to Yosemite. Driver reinstall has been unsuccessful so far. Hopefully atto will update the drivers for this legacy card for Yosemite.

Best luck and for the love of god - don't do it while you're still in a project!!

If you must, make a bootable clone as a backup. Do NOT rely on time machine. I have a revolving OS bootable BU on internal and external SSD + on a Pagasus R6. I got bit by 10.9.4 and vowed NEVER AGAIN.

I believe OSX 10.9.5 also works OK with Resolve 11.1, which is the released version. I'm still on 10.9.4 -- waiting for a few driver updates before I make the switch.

Am I the only person who dislikes the new "flat" OS look in 10.10? Seems like a step backwards to me. Not a fan.

Agreed. I don't mind the flat as much as the WHITE EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME. how about a proper DARK MODE that we actually get something out of?
