Shoulder Pad For 19mm rods ???

Dear REDUSERS

For our EPIC and our Bluehandle i would like to made shoulder rig . We just found this on web that quite inexpensive....but it exists only on 15 mm...

If you buy the one in the Red shop, put the camera right onto and then rods and handles in the front you will have a very nice balanced Epic/ scarlet on your shoulder.. the shoulder pad mounts right on a 19mm rod holder and you can also have things mounted behind the shoulder pad as counter weight.

Holy Crap! Filmtools seems to be charging $237.50 for Zacuto brand of almost the exact same thing as cinecity sells for $39.

I'll suggest a different route. Have a look at the Allstar stuff. He makes a shoulder pad with Arri style dovetail mount.

It looks like the Cinecity one is just the pad, no rods. The Zacuto comes with the short rods, but yes probably still overpriced.

I have the zacuto one and i've seen the cinecity one. I would definitely buy the cinecity one! Yes the zacuto one is made of better quality materials but in reality the cinecity one will work just as well.

I think I ll take the PORTA BRACE....because of the 19" rods use. DOP friend's have the Cinecity it work very well and is made with quality material
