  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

LEICA R on RED: Pictures

Nice Brice.

I think I shot this right at the end of the lens 210mm a while ago...

Beautiful frames. The Ang Tele zoom has been added to my short list.

This thread inspired me to take the LR 70-180 apo out yesterday on my A7r. Hopefully it'll be sitting on Red Dragon sometime soon...

In the meantime just chasing Dragonflies around the pond :)

Incredible... You have no idea how much I love that lens, so jealous right now..

OK if we are doing bugs I'll share this one. These bugs are very small, like 1/3 the size of a grain of rice. The flowers are pretty occasional too as they are desert blooms last April.

60mm Macro.

Nature lovers unite!

I was filming ants the other day too. For legitimate reasons as part of a film. Man, you really can get lost in the macro world.

beautiful samples all around! Nice work guys.

Thanks Jason, its really grown on me too. One of the few lenses I could actually fall in love with. Maybe because it makes me work that much harder to try to harness its amazing potential... or those extra helpings of Leica magic.
And its certainly a beast next to my primes.

I just can't believe that image is from a zoom.

Same thing here! How beautiful is the portrait?
Mark, I can't wait that you receive your Dragon and see some R3Ds shot with that lens.
I'm officially on the hubt for one... And for the $5K to pay it ;)

Nice one Med, I haven't had a look at the 60mm Macro yet as I have the 100mm and I thought one macro lens in the kit was enough but it looks damn' good.

Great 'nature work' David, Med and Christopher. LRs seem to have an affinitiy for the great outdoors and macro.

I'll play now too.
