Absolutely, 100%, do not expect a "review" from me.

I will give you all something better and far more useful than that however if this camera interests you.

So excited. If there's anyone not at RED that knows how to get the most out of a RED camera, it's you!

Loving your work Rand!
I'm making something in a similar vein to give Jarred ample inspiration :D

Thanks Gregory! The more inspiration we all can give the better!

Thanks Rand!
I like to think that the talents shared among us redusers make up for a wide palette and are all complementary to each other.
I tried t do it your way, and it didn't work, as my OCD took over and I was like; screw this, I want a higher resolution and more control!
One thing led to another, and there you have it.

Damn! I thought that scene looked a little off but didn't know why.
Yup, might be too clean, but I wanted each render to take 30 minutes or less.
So, no aberrations, lens flares or dust particles.
Still, I used the equivalent of a 24mm Full Frame lens on a virtual camera with a sensor the size of a Monstro, focused at 437mm with f2.8

Thanks Rand!

Gregory,

That so very true. I'm not ashamed to say that in comparison to most of the guys on this forum, I'm probably one of the least technical. I've always relied on my Creative skills to make up for that and a lot of hard work. I learn what I need to so that I can do what I want to when I want to do it.

Mother f.....!

Of course I saw the writing on the wall for commercial photography a while ago. This is evidence that for many commercial still images, cameras will not be required. If I were a high end commercial photographer the only software I'd be using is Blender.
