Thanks, you, Ketch, for all your help to us in Brazil! Best wishes to you!
I'm sorry to read your post This is "NOT" Good By... When ever I have searched this forum for answers to a problem or just general information, most the time I come across a contribution from yourself and have found it nothing but helpful. You have always taken time to respond to questions big or small, complex or simple from forum members like myself. It saddens me that some people feel the need to poke fun or be disrespectful to you, your ideas, your dreams. I myself have suffered similar unnecessary abuse and put downs at work and at home to the point when it more than just annoys me. However I never let it stop me in what I want to achieve and do in my life and I am sure you won't let these few sad individuals stop you. Remember believing in your self is half the battle, the rest is pure hard work with sometimes a little sprinkle of luck and good fortune.
Ill leave you with a Napoleon quote (not that I am a massive fan of the man he was a tyrant that needed to be stopped and was stopped, however he did have a way with words.)
"Imagination rules the world."
Take care.
Dan
Thanks Daniel,
despite the age, I'm new at this internet thing, and it has only been as of recent that this has started to happen, but I am adapting pretty fast, and the support of those like you here in this forum sure do help a lot to insure that I understand the nature of things and that they are too many that support and care for me, to let any few others ruin it for all, so rest assure that I will NOT go any wee any time soon, and that my Dreams will surely NOT be stopped by no one, and my Imagination is what fuels my health, so that too can't be stopped EVER!!
Great quote BTW..![]()
Thanks for all the help last year Ketch. You are a treasure. Hope the New Year brings you lots of exciting projects
Best,
Andreas
Ketch, good that you've not gone. This place wouldn't be the same without you.
Keep The great work Compare
Hey Ketch, just read the book "Sustainable Urban Environments: An Ecosystem Approach" ... is a systems approach text book (post grad), which I'd think would be good reading for your Tree of Life project. Is perty much a a who's who of large city projects for northern Europe, so is just a good book for who are the current researchers, institutes and construction companies for these large projects. I read the kindle version, but since it's more of a college text book, would have been nice to have the paper version (also the kindle formatting wasn't perfect). Aside from going into the details of the system design, it also goes into things like creating areas that build communities (has a lot of learning's from what not to do and what to do, based on past EU projects).
Congratulations to Ketch!
Our own Ketch Rossi with a 2 page spread (pages 12 & 13 ... Epic 5K frame grab) in the January/February issue of "PhotoPro" Magazine.
Mantenere il buon lavoro!
Ketch i cant find it in the Feb. one on the iPad so is it in the Jan. one?
I believe its a Bimonthly Magazine, so January/February, and Bill said pages 12/13, as I said, I was not aware they did publish any of my work, as the interview was for an article in the March/April issue, and I am not done presenting the Frame Grabs as of yet, so they surprised me with too, and I have no idea which EPIC Frame Grab they published...![]()
