Idea Regarding Mini-mag Trade-in Program

I thought (could be wrong - but I'm sure I read something from Brent regarding this) that you could apply the $950 rebate back to the card (ie order a card then get the rebate applied to the purchase of the mini-mag), but the card would have to be sent back before the new one went out...

Maybe I misunderstood, wouldn't be the first time, LOL.

Plus, in terms of the rebate scheme, I also understood it to be a '1 hit' deal - ie, you only get the rebate once (so, for example, if you have 4 cards, you have to purchase 4 new and rebate the 4 old, in one transaction)... but you can't do 4 individual purchases.

Again, that was what I'd understood the system to be... guess I'll have to re-read everything again!

It's because they've bought in bulk SSD's for the 512's, so that's where they can really offer the discount. Heck, for a $100 more, I am totally getting the 512's. I see no reason to get the 240's unless you have no original mags to trade in.
