As some of you know, I QUIT MY JOB TODAY!!!

I've been a freelance creative for 12 years, cranking out campaigns at A+E: for History Channel, Lifetime, A&E, FYI, LMN, H2, & History En Espanol.

That ends today.

What started with a dream, buying a Scarlet MX in 2013, has become a reality in 2016.

I shoot enough on Epic Dragons to now make this my full time career.

At my own company...SMALL GIANT!

I direct/co-direct all our content (and write a lot of it too), and my talented crew helps me shoot it.

It's been an incredible ride, and I want to thank all of YOU at REDUSER for helping me along the way!

Your enthusiasm, your energy, and your passion has played a serious role in making be better, hungrier, and more determined.

I rank you guys alongside my trusty AMERICAN CINEMATOGRAPHER as my two most invaluable sources of inspiration every month.

THANK YOU.

And can't wait to see you all at NAB! My first time visiting!!!

Best

Cheers Nick. It's a huge step. I did the same at the end of 2010 and haven't looked back. Much :)

Scarlet-X Mysterium-X played a massive roll in 2011 to really making that decision feel good.

Thanks David!

I'm guessing I'm going to have more free time now (no more 18hr days!!), so I'm thinking MORE TIME ON REDUSER. Not less. Haha!

And thanks for the support. I really appreciate it.

I've never done this before. Doing my own company full time.

It's a new world!

Congrats Nick! Looking forward to seeing your future work.

Hehe, I'd say on the contrary, working for you own company means more '20hr days' :-)
But I'm sure you'll enjoy every minute of it ! Congrats

Congrats Nick. What a ride it is with Red. FYI, you got me in to contax lenses, and they are my go to for narrative work, so thank you for that. I am still shooting on scarlet mx and it creates an amazing image. Looking forward to moving to Raven or Scarlet-W in Feb. Cheers man!
