for the possibility to have an additional Sub Forum marked as all non-RED things for sale, or GARAGE SALE or anything you want really,
but please do consider a serious request for the "JOBS" section to be separate form the selling of used gear.

Even so I have successfully Hired a good amount of Reduser professionals using that Sub forum in the past, as it is any Job
offering gets immediately BURIED under the multitude of FS: or WTB threads there.

Even when most recently I posted about crewing up for the Dubai job, I had many people which told me they wished they had seen that thread,
I guess I didn't refresh in off times?

No, it was because it really gets lost page after page of FS: or WTB threads... ;(

So here I request... Humbly the consideration for this Sub Forum to be split up in to two different and separate ones, so that the next time/s
I will post to Crew up for a Job, I'll sure have more responses and faster, and in fact, it so happens that I am about to have an insane busy year,
with already 4 movies in the talks and two other projects, so I'll be posting a lot, or so I hope, because when all possible I sure like to give
WORK to my fellow REDUSER community before I give it to a complete stranger given the same sets of skills...

What do other Reduser think?

Good point Joseph. A "whitelist" would be a lot of work for mods to police. Even immediate removal of negative remarks could leave a permanent record online. I doubt the mods or anyone at Red or Landmine want to be held libel for that.

As far as of any list, white or black, that would have to be literally an other DISCUSSION, as this is a very complex discussion vs the simplicity and usefulness of my request.

I do belong also to several other forums, and some of them do have lists so to see what ratings sellers or buyers have, this is good.

Others have lists for work related experiences amongst members , and they always end up in trouble, both on the forum and legally,
recall couple of threads I started in this forum, and quickly disappear, there are legal issues behind our wish to share the bad, and the right to know.

I do like to protect my fellow Redusers form scam artists, and or simply Bad Apples that do not do as promise, do not deliver and or simply screw you,
but this is again a very touchy subject to maintain, as far as a White list and or a ratings for good bad sellers, like reviews, yeah that could work.


Now back on my Topic and lets hope that we can have a "JOBS offered" only section...

It would be hard to keep in a standard format unless strictly specified on the Sun Forum underline,
and of course provide a first Sticky post with an example that people posting will need to follow.

EX:

Project: Motion Picture or Documentary or Music video or Commercial or Short Film or Undisclosed do to NDA, and so on...

Positions: Stereographer, 3D Tech, Camera Operator, DIT, and so on...

Paid: Union, non-Union, TBD, and so on...

Dates: From... To...

Location: Italy or Undisclosed do to NDA, and so on...

Any ways, a guide line for general posting plus a short description of the job will be nice.

Just that when looking for more then one speciality then the title for the advertised jobs, would have to read as "Crewing Up for Italy's Film, looking 4...."
