It doesn't work right-away with Epic MX. You should get an Offhollywood hotlink to use it, dunno if it works through redlink.
I use a Redmote for remote control of my Scarlet MX and Epic. You can get it as low as 150$ on ebay nowadays - beware it can come with a dead battery, so you'll have to replace one (also easily bought on ebay), or just power it off a powerbank. I also use Redmote to control the cam on a gimbal by docking it to the back of the camera (the cam powers via d-tap)

Off hollywood hotlink, RED redlink module on the back or RT MOTION latitude or Teradek COLR can all provide wifi signal for foolcontrol on DSMC1

you can also use GIG-Ethernet connection from camera to a small gig-e router from GL-INET or even directly to an USB-C ipad or lightning device with the right adapters…

Mikael could you tell the GL-INET router model or provide any link?

Si ce n'est pas un problème pour toi ;-)
