  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

How to format REDmag with just the body...?

Hahaha Thanks. I have a hack. Just wondered if there was a way to do it from the body (I also could run and get the sidehandle /LCD...)

Lay down the camera on his right side on a table and hit hard the protruding part of mag with a hammer?

If you have a computer someone on another thread just posted a clever solve: There is a DSMC Tools app in the downloads section of RED.com under other that lets you create force-presets. You can then hotkey Format to one button and Enter to acknowledge to the other button.

As far as I know there is now direct FORMAT action that you can assign to a button.

Best you could do is assign one to call the MEDIA menu page, then you would need a key to go down to the FORMAT button, then press enter, go down 4 times, press enter again, then go down once and enter again to confirm. So with 3 assigned buttons it is doable...
 
We want to see pictures! I´m really curious to see what you are out doing with a naked camera, must be something special, are those sensors of yours involved? :)
 
play on power button following pattern: ..-. --- .-. -- .- -
wait for 5 second and then play: -.-- . ...

The thing with the multiple sensors is evolving... :)

But it's a bit bread-boxy still.

It now automatically does.... (and there my NDA hit me in the back... LOL)
