You guys have such great light out there...we just don't get that back east
That's the main reason I haven't gone back east. It's the mountains and the light.

Looks great! You shoot anything the day after NY? The sky and sunsets were amazing that week. That day, in particular, had blues and yellows I have not seen in a long time. We have had some wonderful golden sunsets the past two weeks. I went out last night and it was the one bad night. Figures!
I see Starbucks HQ in the bottom.
Why is the reds blotchy? Look at the skin tone and EXIT sign. With LOG310. When I take LOG312 or anything else its fine. So the LUT and wide gamut are fine too. The LOG310 is causing it.
LOG310 with IPP2 is left (first picture), the Dragoncolor2 is right (picture 2)
I lived in Alaska for about a dozen years...so I get it. I think anybody who does any landscape shooting should read Galen Rowell's Mountain Light.
Is there anyway to playback clips with the ipp2 lut applied to the playback? Sorry if this question has been answered a million times
Had the same question. Answer is no, for now.
Coming back the the rest of the holiday update re ramping up production; for a new Scarlet Order (well, start of December) what sort of timeframe are we now talking about from deposit to delivery?
How do we use the IPP2 LUT in Premiere Pro?
I have IPP2 Helium footage over at my post house and it's showing the Dragon Color 2. My editor is asking about using the IPP2 LUT and I haven't tried this yet.
Thx!

RED IPP2 in Adobe Premiere Pro CC
- Go to the clip's "Master" RED Source Settings under Effect Controls
- select REDWideGamutRGB as your Color Space
- select Log3G10 as your Gamma Curve
- add a Lumetri Color effect (found in Effects)
- In the Lumetri Color menu under Basic Correction load the desired 3D Lut Transform

Do you recommend applying the lut as the input lut for lumetri or the output/creative lut?
If I select RWGRGB Colour space and the Log 3G10 Gamma curve on the camera are these baked in to the Proxy files as well?
