  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy - Tilta Gravity Gimbal

Just picked mine up today from AbelCine Burbank....

Did a quick facebook "LIVE" unboxing video....going over basic stuff...

First impressions of packaging and the general build quality ......is high. Very nice.

Going to town on it this weekend......expect some CineMilled goodies available to order in a few days as a result ;)


Naturally going to put it thru it's paces over the next week. I have high hopes for this guy, lets see if it meets expectations.
 
Communication with Lian/ Tilta has been quick and responsive since I got my invoice. Confidence is high!

Looking forward to some cool new tricks from Pedro/ Cinemilled and glad there will be support for Gravity.

Also hoping the s bus port might eventually be used to input a remote control receiver. Have some nice PLC wheels I'd love to be able to use with this like I do the Movi.
 
I have still not received an invoice. Will it be coming later for those who agreed to a later delivery?
 
I've received 3 invoices with errors on the quantity of AKS mounts (there are 4 on the manual / 2 on invoices) & the mismatched battery plates on the Armorman & Gravity (IDX vs Gold Mount). Each time the response takes a few days. I'd love to get things cleared up.

Regarding shipping, are you guys asking Tilta to claim full value for customs or undervalue? I believe undervalued items will cause problems if a damage claim arises.

M you can use their Mimic controller for fast positioning of the gimbal. Currently they don't have a radio handset or thumb controller, but I'm told a thumb controller is in the works.

Thanks. There was a delay in getting my invoice (Yang was out of town). Got mine late last week. Hitting bank tomorrow am.
 
I haven't paid either, will do this week. How much longer did Yang extend the payment window Chris?
 
I paid the extra (4%) 200+ bucks and used Paypal on 9/8...awaiting shipment and tracking info. Will update on progress and delivery. So far communication as been great!
 
Received payment confirmation (bank transfer). There was a national holiday that ended yesterday I believe and caused delays. Tian let me know that info on Sept 14, received confirmation yesterday (sept 18). Waiting on tracking info.
 
paid on 9/8 via pyapal.. still waiting on any other info - due to holiday I haven't heard anything since they confirmed receipt of my payment.
 
Just made my payment today. Can't wait to upgrade my gimbal game. Has anyone tested it on vehicles?
