I was invoiced quickly and paid on 9/8, found out Friday that first batch went quick so I am in the 4 week wait pool but will get the extra battery for my wait.

A little disappointed with Yang at Tiltarequested in every communication that I want to be in the first wave and provide all info early, but still waiting for confirmation that I am even confirmed to be on 'the list.' It took a week to confirm receipt of payment (direct wire transfer) and it is now a few weeks of no responses to emails.
At best unprofessional, at worst feeling a bit cheated. It is not that difficult to send an email confirmation of when you will receive the unit you paid in full in advance for.
Any help from Tilta here? Do they read this thread?

I have had a good dialogue with Tilta so far. They have responded in 1-2 days, I got confirmation that my wire transfer came thru and that they will ship as soon as possible. So far so good. Thanks Chris for setting up the Group Buy!
My communications with Tilta in the beginning did go well, but after they confirmed receipt of payment a few weeks ago it has been radio silence. I requested to be in the first wave and have asked for an update on shipping estimates, just to not hear back.
I thought, having paid quickly, that I would have my gimbal by now... but not hearing back at all is a little unnerving.
I do know that the gimbals in the first wave went very quickly...since most people wanted them now. From what I've been told, it's a 4-week window from when you actually pay to when they ship it.

More bad news, I just received an email from Sophia again, now telling me that my gimbal won't ship out until half way through next month? WTF???? They will have had my money for almost 2 months??? This is not at all what I thought this group buy was about. I'm going to start looking at other options. Very disappointed.
It sucks, because I have been so impressed by Tilta as a company for the products that they are producing, but dealing with them as a company has been frustrating.
