It will fit rail 1 1/4" to 1 1/2"

Thanks for putting together your 300th group buy of the year, Chris ;)

I'm in, if we can hit 25%! Hope to pickup some accessories too - what's the status of their expandable track?

<edit: removed some stuff about accessories because I misread the original post>

Thanks!

Just want to jump in an make a clarification. The brake accessory will only support rail 1-1/4" to 1-1/2", but the system with the keeper/grabbers will support 1-1/4" to 2". The Shuttle Dolly without the Keeper/Grabbers, could technically run on rail up to 2-1/2" diameter.

Jean,

In order to have It with an heavy setup we use a costum made very sturdy 3m rail, as in the picture (you can have a better clue watching the video). For "normal" use I use 1 1/2 aluminum pipes. U need an additional support every 1.5meters. I personally don't have a very good experience with carbon fiber tubes, for this kind of job, the reason are:
1) carbon fiber can be damaged with impacts and so on, so if u are not be very careful on how you handle it and transport it you can have bad surprises since:
2) a structurally damaged carbon fiber (note that the damage is sometimes not very visible) can loose quickly its sturdiness and can brake easier:
3) when carbon fiber brakes it does it without any warning, it just crashes dramatically....

That's why I would go with Aluminium if I were u

sorry but I am french, I don't understand this measure, I will try to convert it but I am not sure I can do it
what about stand ?
thanks

Just want to jump in an make a clarification. The brake accessory will only support rail 31.75mm to 38.0mm, but the system with the keeper/grabbers will support 31.75mm to 50.0mm. The Shuttle Dolly without the Keeper/Grabbers, could technically run on rail up to 63.5mm diameter.

I adjusted Chris Beller's comment above to mm. It includes to adapters to mount on a jr. pin or c-stand.

Thanks for that clarification Chris B

I'll admit - I promised myself I was holding off on new purchase... but, just out of curiosity, do we have to configure and place our order by 9 PM tonight or just declare our intent and put our package together after that?
