  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: Budget CRI 95 LED Strip Lights

Hi,

I've been having a lot of trouble later with the controllers. If I let it sit powered off for a while, plugged to the lights and 12V PSU, it won't power up again. Also it gets a bit warm (not doing anything). After a while it works normally.
Other thing is that when I power it up, lights flashes few times before going continious.

What can I do? Any software update or are my units faulty (first batch)?

Miha

Brandon I have posted several emails on the Koraled email address, with a question.

Thanks

Please PM me your email address. I don't see anything from you.

Any update?

I called you twice and emailed you. Please send me PM here if you didn't receive the email.

How many rolls of light are attached and what are the specs for the power supply? It sounds like you are overloading the controller.

Hello Brandon,

Chinese New Year over.... any shipping schedule?

Thank you in advance

You are in the next batch going out Monday, Jeff.

I have 5 meters connected in parallel (5x1m). PSU is 12Vx20A, so powerfull enough. It doesn't make a change if I connect 1m or 5m.
What about freezing controller?

Email me a photo of everything all wired up with the specs for your power supply.

What about the rest of us?

For those of you with mat and power unit upgrades who are not in the Facebook group, I set up a hidden blog that I will also keep updated. Bookmark the page and you can always check there for the latest information.

Here's the link:

You need to be logged in with your account to see the posts. Otherwise, it will say the page can't be found. If you are logged in and still unable to see the posts, DM me here and I'll take a look.

This was written well over a month ago and that specially-created blog has not been updated since.

Mike, I posted an update to the blog on Wednesday. There will be another one soon.

I just sent you an email, please take a look.

Hey Brandon,

My apologies on the Blog thing. I had the post from Jan 11th on my screen which I kept refreshing. Until you told me above you updated on Wednesday, I just assumed a refresh was what I needed to do to see anything new. I just went looking and found that I needed to drop back one directory to see the list of blog posts. Duh! Sorry about that. Really all I wanted was information and it seems it was there all along. I wondered why no-one else was asking..... (Hangs head in shame.....)

Hello Everyone,

I'm pleased that Brandon and I have been able to work out an agreement, where we're going to see if anyone form the community here would like to take over my original order(s). Here is the list:

(8) Daylight LED Strips
(2) Variable LED Strips
(6) Solaris Ctrl+ LED Controllers*
(1) Desktop Power Supply
(1) Power Kit
(1) Fixed Connector Kit
(1) Variable Connector Kit

* I currently have 4 of the controllers. The 2 remaining controllers will be coming with the rest of the strips and accessories.

All the items are new, in-box, and have never been used. They should be ready to be shipped out from the warehouse, but I will give Brandon final word on that.

Additionally, if you would be willing to take the whole lot, I will offer a decent discount.

Thanks.

Can someone tell me how to connect the power adapter to the Solaris? Thank you

Called me twice???? Perhaps leave a message. Something. I don't check this reduser board often.

I got your 2 emails on February 15th and you obviously got mine, because it was in the chain. But I responded 4 times to your 15th email - an answer to your question, I also sent you two verification receipts of payment (I've paid you 4 times) and another request for a response. Perhaps check your email/junk folder.

One of your emails on the 15th stated the following: "Sorry, I mixed you up with someone else who has a similar Red User name. Are you near a phone right now? I want to confirm something with your order. Importing it now." Is this what's happening. You're calling someone else?

I sent you my phone number. Nothing. No call.

As for PMing you. I've done that many times. Still nothing. This seems to be the best place to get a response. Now if you could just send the stuff - we're good.

I am designing and assembling a few lights with KoraLED supplies. I have 24 daylight strips, 6 solaris ctrl+ controllers and no PSUs (they have 12 PSU's ordered, but the buyer said they never arrived. I can send that shopify invoice URL via DM, it still says "Preparing for shipment" for the PSUs).

I would love a link to the facebook group and a product manual. I created an account on your website if that helps.

Really looking forward to seeing the quality and output of these LEDs/controllers!

Could anybody tell me, what the content of the "variable strip connector kit" from the group buy is supposed to be or how many items it includes?
Thank you!

Nils, I already replied to you by email.

Are you looking for something more complex than connect the positive wire to the terminal marked V+ and the negative to the one marked V-? Because that's all there is to it.

Nick
