  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: Budget CRI 95 LED Strip Lights

Red pill of course.

But to be clear, you're saying the controller can handle up to 4 strips, but the power units can't, right ? That would make sense as the power were rated at around 10 amps if I remember well...
So what would be the solution if we want to use the controller to its full power ? (or at least with let's say 2 or 3 strips) ?

Red Pill here as well. This is what I wanted right from the beginning. However, need a solution for 40 amps or so. Otherwise it seems kind of meaningless. Perhaps I'm missing something. Can we Bridge-parallel somehow?

One more thing, what you have put together Brandon is amazing. You really have been hustling with this. All is very much appreciated. Just hoping there is a way to lock this up and get these lights soon. This could be a perfect solution for a project coming all too fast.

Again, appreciate all you have done with this.

Brandon, the RED solution is better for sure, however we need more clear informations regarding power and controllers expecially regarding the dimensions of the light systems we want to buid such as panels (medium, large) or other different light sources.

Count me RED please

I know they are still being modded but do they have a picture of the product they are modifying? I would love to see what kind of product it is. Maybe we can see if there's any issues with the design before it's too late. Or if there's a picture of the two products(the wifi one and the with a wired controller?)

40A isn't required for 4 strips. You can bridge the channels if you want, but it would be easier just to use one strip per channel in my opinion. If you need more than this you'll probably need to double up on the controllers.

That's all coming. There will be a whole set of documentation with your orders. There will also be very detailed reports showing the test results for each batch of strip lights. Some of the info about the controllers will be in the document I send out today.

It's basically a white box with terminals. There will be pictures in the document I send out today. There is no wired remote for these, but if enough people want one I'm sure they can build it. I was told that new products will take 30-60 days depending on the complexity. There is a large MOQ for all of this, but we have the numbers...

Red for me too...
I have to admit that I'm also a bit confused with the variable controller thing... I order two of those... Should I need only one unit with that new model if I can control 4 strips in the same time?

You're still going to want 2 still. Think of each controller as a lighting unit. When you adjust the brightness it will affect every strip attached to it the same. The added capacity of the new units means you can add more strips to them and make each unit brighter.

Cool! thanks for the info Brandon.
Let's go fo two!

Yep, red pill's my pick. I'll just update my order accordingly whenever the email goes out. Thanks!
