Well we really have no recourse other than periodic public shaming for missed shipping date estimates. Whether it has any impact is anyone's guess but its all we got.
I'm sure the product will be epic. I hope it ships some day.
Public shaming would be more appropriate for a company who took your group buy money up front and still hasn't delivered product. Bright Tangerine hasn't done either...
Well its a figure of speech. Public whining more to your liking?
I love BT stuff and have 2 of their mattboxes and will be buying this Follow Focus for sure whenever it's ready but why apologize for them?
Is there a way to get paid to apologize for other companies? If so sign me up! I'll say things like "just have a little more patience for View Factor to ship their wireless system" and "DJI has great customer service you must have had a isolated incident" .........just kidding, I would never say those things.
I can't even find in this thread where I removed my name from being "interested" - i went and eventually bought an FF-5 ... which is bomber. I personally think this thread should be locked and Nick should open a new one when the product is real. I delayed my purchase of my FF5 because of this thread for quite some time, I bet there are others like me who delayed purchases - and I know,i know, this is a "interest" thread but it also has a list of names.I don't understand the BS line we keep getting that, "they're not going to release it until it's perfect." What successful company operates like that? What if Apple had decided not to release the iPhone 1 because it had to have the functionality of an iPhone 7.
Waiting for a product for, what?, nearly two years? Insane. It's about credibility, guys. I think honesty is a factor as well. If 19 months ago they had said, "We are going to have a wonderful product, one that's on par with our matteboxes, but it may be a good long while before you have anything in your hands" -- most people would be okay with that. Better yet, don't announce until you're ready to roll it out. It's just really frustrating.
I played with the latest working prototype a week ago. It's great but still needs more tweaking.
How does it compare to the O'Connor CFF-1, which I believe he designed as well..?
