When it comes to that old adage, "everyone wants the same thing, they want it good, fast and cheap. Pick Two", I am quite content to watch Robert take the time he needs, because I know it will be better than good, and an incredible value.

Well it's not that cheap anymore so it must be fast and good? :tongue_smilie:

Having used both the Bright Tangerine and the O'Connor, I am not that fussed about having an ARRI FF anymore. It's really nice and does it's job really well, for sure, but the competition are really outshining them with added features AND build quality to match.

Well that would make sense, because they all have been pretty much designed by the same person.

not in isolation... there were others involved as well. Carthik Potluri is also working on the Revolvrs, and is the reason they look so trick.

To give credit where it's due, the original FF-2 was designed by Enkhard Richter (with pencil and paper no less), its evolution thru the FF-3 and FF-4 was managed by several other designers thereafter, my late contribution was optimizing the swing arm.

I emailed them and they said Q1 of 2016

UPDATE!

Bright Tangerine is working on building a limited run and these are intended for in house final testing. Some units will go into the field

Main production and delivery will be Q1 2016.

Thank you very much

Do we have any specific dates? If Q1 2016 isn't met I cannot wait any longer, it's already several months overdue.
Also, will there actually be a group buy or is this not going to happen?

So, my monthly what is going on bump :P

Nice :)

Do you know when they are going to be available perhaps? Did they say any dates at all other than Q1 2016?

All I heard is they are still on track.

But this thing is awesome! Very well thought out and tons of features. I think it's been worth the wait.

As Matt stated, there has been no update on production schedule, sine last updated above. The field testing is proceeding.

Thank you very much
