  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

A guy came into our booth and said that one of our "big" competitor's sales rep had said that RED had hired paid actors to stand in the line around the RED booth to make it look like we had a lot of interest in our Peter Jackson footage. Pretty funny.

Thats what the Beatles promoter did for their early performances--have em scream in the front row. An old marketing trick. Its nice to see its REAL INTEREST at NAB that is drawing the crowds!

I heard it was just a 4k projection of a lineup. If you look closely, you see it was just Jim and Jarred in different disguises over and over again.
 
I knew it I knew it ! I was looking at the pictures of the tent online and well, I know I saw Deniro.

Maybe its because all of us RED users are all so damn good looking; you know being all hip and with the times and all.
 
actually, jim paid me and my cousins from overseas to mingle.

sorry jim, grandpa was busy but he says hi.

Yeah, actually I heard Jarred and Jim are really just digital characters made up like in the movie Simone. Unfortunately Al Pacino isn't behind it this time though. :sarcasm:

i walked by phantoms booth...no one

i walked by dalsas booth....one maybe a second who was lost

i walked by arris booth....average crowd

i walked AROUND reds booth.......mobbed from start to finish

now multiply by 3 and you have my NAB

no wonder they are telling stories with all that time on there hands
