  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

You can use that link Elsie or just do a search for Foolcontrol within the iTunes App Store. Its the only one (besides the $4.99 version) and the discount is there. No coupons or anything special needed.

heh, yeah, bought the $4.99 version just the other day and decided to go full version today with the discount.
 
1.90 released with native iPad UI, new 'linear focus' page for single op and lots if other small improvements.

foolcontrol-r start/stop only app at 4.99 $ was also updated to 1.90...
 
FWIW if anyone is living on the edge and running on beta firmware 6.3.x....

latest foolcontrol iOS 1.91 released a week before NAB was already DNX / MXF aware :-)

yes OS X supports all tangent panels (element, wave, ripple and even iPad app)... all keys, knobs etc can be remapped easily via tangent mapper app

I do not have one so cannot say for sure but looks like you can program your own buttons, should be pretty easy to remap app shortcuts (including arrow keys for focus etc).
OS X app has an help page showing all keyboard shortcut...

but we derailed this thread as it is about the iOS app.... :)

Hi Mikael, I'm having disconection problems with the Scarlet W running the latest beta firmware. If I roll back, will that be corrected?

Hi Mikael, Is there are way to add notes to a clip after the clip has been recorded. I often get a request to mark a take or add notes to a clip after record has been stopped.

Hi Santiago. Was it working working better with previous FW. I am not aware of specific wifi issues with latest beta version.
Most of the time the disconnect problem is related to very busy wifi channel issues.
try switching channels and use infrastructure network whenever possible. do not hesitate to email me for any specific help

Unfortunately at the moment the camer will not allow for any 'post record' metadata to be enterred into the clip (or rather thru a sidecar file). The day it is possible you can bet I'll add this asap to the app.
