Just wrote a small and free script to do create a folder full of symbolic links pointing toward all R3Ds clips from an EDL, XML to help conform on DaVinci by having all clips in a unique folder... without losing any time or disk space copying files if they already are on local network...

it reads any EDL, XML or text file... looking for R3D clip references
then you point it to the sources folders/volumes with your R3Ds
once all clips are found it will create symbolic links to the .RDC folders in the location of your choice.
