I have the Full set, including the 25mm and have to say, that it has received all positive reports, from three different shoots.
Thank you very much
Fury
How long have you had the 25mm? Still waiting on mine.
I'm looking for a case for my Xenons (5 lenses). I checked out the iSeries 2011 Lens Case by SKB and wasn't in love. I have a few extra Pelican 1510 cases kicking around and I'm wondering if anyone makes a foam insert for the Pelican. Any suggestions?
Nice Nick, hoping mine will come soon! Glad to hear there are some 25mm in the wild.Hi Jon!
Three weeks.
Thank you very much

I got a very nice Nanuk case (made in the Great White North) with custom foam insert for 5 Xenons from Hot Rod Camera. I think it was about $400. However, my original set of 3 is getting very lonely waiting for their relatives to arrive from Germany..

I went back and double-checked my invoice. The Nanuk case from Hot Rod Camera was $479…that price included both the case and the 5-lens custom insert.Wow Tom, having just acquired a Nanuk case for my cameras, this cutout really looks awesome. You mentioned the custom insert costs $400 from Hot Rod? I'm guessing the insert is a separate cost from the case.
Bright Tangerine makes both a 114mm-100mm threaded adapter ring, and a 143mm-100mm clamp on ring. I'm not that familiar with the LMB5, but the BT accessories generally work with Arri products.Does anyone know if there is a 100mm back for the arri lmb5 or some sort insert ring for theses lenses?
thank you!
I shoot a lot with these lenses and they have so much going for them. I actually sold my Leica R set because I found myself using these way more. Yes the Leica's had less CA but that was also because of the dated coatings. For some corporate work, I needed lenses which had a clean contrast look. The Red Primes actually fit the bill nicely, but I hated lugging those around. Xenons are a great size and weight. The mechanics are smooth, and the bokeh is creamy. When I want my old Leica look again, I slap on a slight diffusion filter, like the awesome Tiffen Satins. Here's something I just shot using the Xenon 50mm, at 2.1, with Tiffen Satin 1.

Bob,
I can't remember if I asked you or not, but did you use the "Black Satin" or regular "Satin" diffusion filters from Tiffen? Much appreciated!
This shoot was with the Black Satins.
