  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

First Look - Schneider Xenon FF-Prime Lenses

A few folks will be getting lenses before the year is out. There's more on the way from Germany soon though. If you are #1 or #2 on Duclos Lenses, Hot Rod Camera, or Filmtools you might have a good Christmas.

On the contrary, it is intact the availability of different tools that allows our ever expandability of our creative mind in the use of such tools.

I never stop looking at new gear, and what I can achieve with it, progress and technology go hand on hand with creativity and what can be achieved with it.

Tools are one thing, consumo mode is quite another.

I'm number one at film tools, so Christmas is looking good so far.

Yes, Jacek we know all about your system, you have been trying to push it at absolutely every opportunity humanely possible, but honestly this comment isn't much better than trolling.

We would never have RED if JJ followed the sh%$p mentality. Look what RED did to the industry- it's thriving now...

There was nothing light or funny about your comment Jacek.
"Clinging onto the old" and comments about human nature do not qualify as "having light fun". In fact this kind of comment from you is getting a little bit heavy, you know? Especially when we know the subtext is just about you selling your product, which has nothing to do with these lenses from Schneder which fill a gap for a lot of us.
I am not knocking your product, but honestly this is a thread about the new Schneider FF lenses.
If all that you have to contribute is that anyone who would be interested in these lenses is basically old fashioned, part of a herd mentality and hooked because of the power of suggestion, then that is really not contributing very much. In fact it is just as I said it was - trolling.
 
Back on subject. Looks like those who ordered via HRC should be getting them very soon as well. Looks like they're all at Schneider USA for QA, then off to their owners. Yay!

Any update on the EF mounts, either with the current shipment or as a separate purchase? Or is this a PL shipment only?

I can answer this. There are more EF mounts than PL mounts are this particular shipment.

I was told Schneider shipped the 35 and 50 in the first batch, with the 75mm shipping to Schneider USA for QA most likely this coming monday.
 
I got something heavy for you:

Heavy enough for you? :) again- lighten up please
 
Does anyone know of dealers that are selling these lenses individually? I only see info on the sets on HRC, Duclos, and Filmtools sites. I'd like to be able to pick them up one at a time as budget permits.
 
As of now you can pick up the first 3, then the other 2 individually, but you can't get the first 3 individually at this time.
