Fan-Kit 2.0 (Bottom) not playing nice with Mod. Assault Plate / Thoughts?

So my 2.0 kit arrived yesterday, and I can't seem to get 15mm LWS bracket to play nice with the new lower fan kit. Has anyone run into this issue?

My only thoughts are to either:
-File down the space between the portions that hold the 15mm rods. (not ideal)
-Try to construct a hard ABS style spacer to push the bracket out a bit more.

Has anyone made the combination of the modular assault plate and lower 2.0 fan kit work together in harmony? I'd like to avoid just MASHING the two together since it'd mar/damage the lower fan assembly housing.

Will do later tonight, once I can photo both together. Basically the outer portions that hold the LWS rods are basically binding with the outer bottom edges of the fan housing.

FWIW, RED assault plate with 15mm rods working fine here with new bottom fan. Yes, you should post a picture so we get a clue and hopefully suggest something.

Yep. Just tested it out and mine fits. Can you post an image?

I'm suspecting the bottom fan isn't mounted properly. Perhaps the gasket got folded when attached?

I may be misunderstanding, but I saw that WC have a little piece to use with LW bracket to give space for the new fan.

Yes WC has a solution for their existing plates, but I believe Isaac is talking about the one from RED.

It's the RED plate. So after taking it all apart and looking at it again it appears that due to the way the fan is built installing the plate requires a little bit of specific order.

When I originally installed the fan I just left the modular assault plate on, but removed the 15mm LWS bracket off to give me access to the fan area. So on reassembly I just logically thought that installing the bracket works.

Well it doesn't...

So the trick to making it work is to take the entire bottom assault plate off, install the bracket, and with the new fan assembly installed you just reattach the bottom plate and everything fits. So it means no quick swapping of the bracket, but I never did that to begin with anyways. There's also some forward/back play until you fully seat the mount screws on the bottom plate (that go into the brain) and I originally may have had it pulled just a little too far backwards. So this time I just kept it pulled as far forwards.

So it fits. Annoying to have to trouble shoot it, but it's now good to go. Thanks for all the input, guys!
