Hey all,

Proud owner of an Epic-w for about 2 weeks now. I have only just got round to testing and putting it through its paces as I have a very big Range Rover Commercial coming up at the end of this month so after changing something random like a focus setting in the menus the camera just froze for a split second and decided to abruptly switch off - not a proper shutdown. My first thought was that the battery had run out and I just failed to watch the time remaining, however the battery still had an hour left on it. I am using Anton Bauer Cine 150s - great batteries. The camera seemed bricked for about 10 seconds and then I managed to boot it back up. Now everything on the screen is a crazy colour and also have this strange lines in my waveform- I'm not sure if this is normal in the colour space (log3g12) however I can't seem to think why. I'm slight nervous to use this camera now.

Any thoughts?

- will post the photo when I get home

EDIT: PHOTO of waveform -

I would try to power with the AC adapter to see if that does any difference. Low amp and strange power I found to be a common thing when weapon and helium starts to act nuts.
