  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC Stage 3

Great news indeed, thank you Jarred and the rest of the Red crew!!! One question if I may - looked but didn't find any answers, if say Stage III camera #24 on the list has their Red One booked for a month, do the rest of us Stage III'ers have to wait for that camera to be returned before we get notified, or will you pass them over to the next Stage III person in line? This could greatly effect delivery times.
 
Are you able to give us details of how the process will work... that is if you have a batch of 25 cameras and 10 are not available to be sent in cause they are out shooting, will you keep sending out emails until the 25 are fill and keep the flow going?
Maybe RED could have a email out to owners on when their cameras can be sent in and make batches from that... (this could be an online system)
I'm sure you guys have this all figured out and it would be fantastic if you could shed a little light on the process.
 
We will keep the flow at a constant rate to the best of our ability. There will be some spikes I am sure we will not be able to predict, but we aim to be steady. Would not make sense to ramp up an entire team to do this and have them sitting there playing Angry Birds.

This is great news! As someone with a stage 4 order this can only mean the day of getting this dream camera is closer... The anxiety is almost unbearable, but every new step is a day closer to home. Hope no one gets to play Angry Birds over there until their off time!

OK. Please, can the early "raffle winners" that receive the e-mail today post when they have received them? Please.....:drool: That way, we can know how extensive every batch is... Please.....:drool:

Can we please know what is the constant rate please; I have long past stage 2 in rentals, I am sure some are in the same situation.
Please Red comrades, spill the beans so we can accurately estimate our business.

As mentioned earlier, won't know constant rate until we see how the first few batches go.

The future is hard to predict. However, stage 3 shipping, new parts flying like mad. RED invented the new future. Seriously, no one is even close to bringing the noise like our boys! Nice work! Thanks again for everything.
 
Brent, man, you are just killing us...!!! So, to stop this postings game: we just WOULD LIKE to know how many e-mail you are planning to send for the first batch today.

PS: Saying that you will not reveal that information IS an option, and up to you...

But all we need is for people who get the e-mail to post here and then post again when they get their Epic-X and we can figure it out pretty quick, I think it will be two weeks before the first Stage III records on an SSD. The most important statistic to know is when people receive their Cameras, and when their original RED ONE was delivered. And their Blast number, and ranking in their Blast ......
