  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC Reservations Begin...

I really WANTED to buy before Oct 30th, but I couldn't... can I be eligible :001_rolleyes: ?

Have to make decision to do Stage 2 by May 1. Have to pay deposit for Stage 2 by June 1. Have to pay final balance due within 30 days of being told your EPIC-X Stage 2 package is ready for delivery.

Everybody seems to be happy to congratulate the Red one owners. Is there no pity for those of us who know they can't afford to go Epic and yet despair over ways to trade in their beloved One's; not even knowing if they should?:cryin:

Can Red setup something with my bank where they automatically transfer $30 a week from my checking to my Red "Savings" account:) ?

Scott did you mean let RED give you a $30 aweek allowance and they take the rest of the funds? I like your style! :)

Michael....

That would be nice:)

But, committed (or should be) to the Stage II today! Scary beyond belief and excited! Definitely a bi-polar experience, matched to some degree by the experience of committing to the acquisition of the Red One in the first place. Except this time I don't ave the money on the bank to actually finish buying:)

Well, move forward or drop out. To involved and excited in this to give up!

Curse you Red! :)

Now I have to finalize naming my Red One, AND find a name for my Epic-X!

hope few people take up stage 2.........so we with REDOnes in the 6000'th place who want stage 2 dont have to wait....and wait....and wait...just being a bit selfish I know...but hey...who wants and likes to wait?

I own Red # 6732.....

I "expect", based on Jim's statement to expect them to start deliveries after August to mean I will be in last quarter. More time to save/earn the balance:) But whenever it ships, I will sell some of my cars to get it:)

Anyone interested in buying a classic Land Rover:) ?

early REDs who aren't upgrading ?

early REDs who aren't upgrading ?

I'm one of those people too. I know my chances of quick Epic delivery will be way better with Stage 2. Wanting to do stage 3 with #5923 seems like an eternity.

I should probably look around the forum a bit more, but does anyone know if there is a post/section where people with early REDs are NOT going to do stage 2 or 3? It would be cool to find them and see if they want to work out deals with others.

Joe

funny, I also have a Land Rover 110 V8, 1987 model.... You sound optimistic, August would be great, but I really think it will take longer...but, I really hope you are right, I am #6340, so some hundreds in front of you....

that is a great idea!!!! But would red allow this????

These guys at RED are sooo wise... they´ll subtly force most of us into M-X Upgrade & Stage 2, considering wait times, lost rentals/jobs, backup bodies...
From JJ down the line to the doorman, "el que no corre vuela"... please R. Lequeux, a nice translation...::smile5:

I hope red re-considers Sanjin's dilemma. I know companies have to follow policy but Sanjin has been somewhat of a pioneer in lens mounts and has devoted a great amount of time to offering information on these boards. Sanjin's posts have allowed me to realize the potential of using multiple lens mounts and therefore the greatness in the Epic mount design. I am sure his posts have also aided red development? He has done this at his own risk and without need for profit. Surely, an exception can be made in his case? He is a good long term member of the community. I hope red reconsiders the block he has and i'm sure they will benefit for such a decision.
