For someone who plans on shooting a wedding for example (and yes, there will be these people) 15 seconds is a LOT of time to wait for your camera.
How many times does one have to change their battery in a day? It has to be done currently.
Add a battery module and you've got hot-swapping capability of your batteries. Allowing you to theoretically have your camera on all day long and actually never have to turn it off for the purpose of swapping out a battery. if i'm not mistaken.
Battery module and sleep mode with longer start up time seem like good tradeoffs to me.
