Odd, then, that I was able to black shade my dragon at 1fps/180 in the last beta build.
The longest exposure possible with Dragon on 5.1.x is 1/8s
The longest exposure possible with Dragon on 5.2.x is 1 sec.
Which version are you running?

It could be a technical thing stopping Epic getting multiple BS. But might be held back to make it a feature of Dragon only.
Has it been said its a technical limitation of Epic? I missed that if it was.
this latest release. Previously I was running the latest 5.2.x beta. The longest exposure possible with Dragon on 5.1.x is 1/8s

1) It makes sense that the Dragon electronics are more robust, including memory capacity.
2) There have been conspiracy theories over the years about RED manipulating the product line to protect certain products and that is just not how they roll; they don't "hold back" features that they could otherwise offer. So, you can believe what you want but the evidence just isn't there. My opinion, of course.
Is Anamorphic De-Squeeze on Scarlet-Dragon, or MX as well?
READ this ten times and then read it again.
And yeah - huge thanks for this update. VERY accurate now.
To really see what is going on with the EXPOSURE TOOL.
SET Monitor RAW VIEW open and close the lens iris or change the shutter.
You will see that light is the only thing that effects the readings from the EXPOSURE tool.
If you move the ISO value the EXPOSURE tool will NOT change.
This is the "purest" way to see what is being captured in the RAW file in camera without checking on RC X, here you see what is blown out and what is black.
SET Monitor DC/RG4 - open and close the Iris or shutter.
You will see the same thing you did above, but if you change the ISO that will be reflected in the EXPOSURE tool and you will see the changes in the exposure. (I wish it was not like this but it is)
This way the exposure tool is reporting what you see on your screen not necessarily exactly what is being recorded. It's handy to have this option as you might want to monitor your intended look.
The GOALPOSTS NEVER CHANGE. If you see noise in the goal post, it is there, if it's 10, 50, 75% it is reporting exactly what it is seeing. Same for the clipping side of the goal posts, no matter what mode you are in the camera is telling you what is clipped.
I can see why the exposure tool is set up this way, but to me I want it only reporting the RAW view all the time. I think the HISTOGRAM should change between RAW and DC/RG3 mode but I think the EXPOSURE tool should remain a constant.
It's easy enough to map keys to RAW view and exposure tool, but I think this can also be creating underexposure problems.

Camera was frozen once on set today. Quick reboot and was fine rest of the day. Also noticing when turning off camera after shut down logo, you see a frame or two of grid pattern flash on the screen. Sent a log to RED, to look into. But have anyone else notice this?
If you ever notice your camera locking up or freezing please file a support ticket and send in a log file. This happens to me quite often, firmware aside.
