  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

DSMC "SPINNER" EVF Mount

Will this work on the Red One as well? Or is the R1 too heavy? If it does then I will need 2...

So this whole thing has something to do with a camera of sorts?
I'd want one but I gotta get my M first :-)

Jarred I am trying to think of a helmet mount for my Epic... any ideas for maybe the EVF to go all the way under the camera so I can see my frame?

Oh, and and I got a cool idea!!!
Following up on the tap to focus feature, how about an EVF that tracks the pupil of the operator to focus?

EDIT: I understand that tone of matte grey is your personal shade for the Epic but how many levels of impossible would it be to ask for my M to be personalized?
See, I don't like my toys to be "normal coloured" either.

EDIT 2: the mention of my M is very much so in the future, do not take this as any sort of begging for dates or anything of the sort.

We do this sort of thing for skydiving all the time. Usually instead of an EVF mount or LCD mount in front of you we just use a ring sight mounted on the helmet.

Wow, Brook, I tried to do something like that with my 1D Mk3 and I bumped the lens on the top of a door frame...
bad experience with a 50mm f1L lens

Actually I want to take some shots while skiing in the woods so I need to know exactly where the camera is pointing at so it won't get knocked (and drag me down as well) if I hit a tree branch or something...

Jarred is that EVF mount compatible with the One or just Epic? (looks like it's universal)

Red Gunner is alive! Every piece has a rugged, military style...fantastic. Can't wait to have a go at these things next month. Thank you for sharing, Jarred.

The handles look awesome. And they do look like mag wheels! Ferrari bits on my camera. Love it!

Hi Shawn,

I talked to the ET guys a couple of months back looking for a solution for the Bomb EFV (when it shows up - :001_unsure:)

And they have an L bracket that will allow the bomb to fit the ET mount. It's kind of outsized for the Epic IMHO, so my plan is to leave the ET EVF mount on the MX.

I'm hoping for a better answer, and it looks like we may have just got one.

See the rosette on the wheel grip? see the rosette on the Aaton grip? Put 2 and 2 together :)

But.... I would wait and see everything we are releasing before you start looking around. What you see here is only the tip of the iceberg.
