New 7inch LCD?!? Can't wait to hear more about that!

And thanks for fixing the magnify video glitch. That one was always tough for new producers to understand.

Thanks Jarred!

Heh. That word new is always the culprit. Thanks for the new build. I'll update these evening.

Are the lower resolution sizes and framerates back for Anamorphic support in this build?

Nice getting closer to a realese version with REDgamma4 as default gamma.

Normally I black shade when my temp reaches 64 degrees. (adaptive -> target 65) After installing 5.2.11, my temp does not appear go above 62, even when I set target to 70 and let it run for 30 minutes.

Another thing I noticed is that my top fans never stop blowing hair. I thought once upon a time they were off more than on. I can hear them in my fairly quiet room. Also not hearing any audible difference between adaptive and adaptive quiet when recording.

Here is the log file: www.spearsandmunsil.com/sspears70/red/04-25-14/log.zip

[Update: After running a long time my temp has finally settled at 64. Still curious if the top fans should ever turn off. Last I remember them being off was on EPIC-MX. Had not paid much attention on Dragon until now.]

I do have one question. Is it okay to leave the side handle and Redvolt XL module on during upgrade? At one point the instructions always said to remove everything. Now they no longer mention that. I was also concerned for a moment by the blinking green pwr and rec lights after update. I thought something was wrong until I went back and read the install docs. :)

I tried going back to 5.1.48 and I get the same results. I tried to go back to 5.2.9, but it would not let me.

I put 5.2.9 on my Dragon today and BlackShaded at 64f, I timed the Calibration and it took 4m30sec. I think that's a new record and seems vastly improved in both calibration and speed. Kudos!

Hi Jared,

Thanks, Now blackshade is working. Thanks to Alan @ RED Irvine, for proofing that out as well, with this build.

I tried to get Time code 23.98, into tmy Dragon Carbon, via Zaxcom's ERX, but still fails. Any progress on that issue at all?

Thank you very much

Fury

Nick, what is the timecode output level on the ERX? I started low and increased the level until the cam caught it. They played very well together.

The funny thing now is that with every new update I expect 5K 24fps to be released for the Scarlet-X :)
One can hope.

Good update.

No fix for red & purple Exposure display mode inaccurately reflecting RAW clipping/noisefloor values unless also in RAW mode?
[Edit: Just seen 5.1.47 has maybe addressed this "Fix exposure check clip and noise indicators"? Will install & check! ]

Also would like the green exposure band in Exposure display mode to be a selectable option.
