  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

DSMC Accessories

How does it all work?

How does it all work?

Hey Jarred,

For those of us who are unable to try out thes pieces at NAB, is there some way of posting pics of configurations with a bit of explanation? Buying this stuff on line is like going to a store and buying clothes without trying them on first. You think you have the right sizes and styles but then you get home and nothing is as you thought it might be. Then you have to return it and the insedental cost goes up.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

oops.. forgot i gotta do that every once in awhile... good night :)

Will there be a way to separate the old accessories from the DSMC ones on the website? I can see it getting confusing after a while. Or maybe that would be pointless anyways, since everything works with everything ha.

I'm sorry for being a "noob" as they say, but what is the wheel accessory for?

its a kip handle!

Hey Jared what's the difference between the "clutch" and the Red gunner? Pics of the Red gunner??? The clutch is freaking awesome ... I had considered a $3,000+ rig from another company but the build quality doesn't even come close to what the quality of clutch seems to be. Just want to understand what the gunner is before pulling the trigger. Can't wait to try them in two weeks at NAB :)

Thanks Jared,

Anthony

Hi ,

Just ordered one clutch and wondering if the rosettes are compatible with Alexa.
Would love to use both "arms" from the clutch directly to ALEXa's body .
I have 92 days of handheld coming my way and we are shooting this season with Alexa.
(last season was RED).

Cheers
Fly safe .

holy shit, the epic is going to be the f-150 of cameras.

I would love to see how this quick release system works if there are any photos or video of it attaching and disconnecting from the camera.

Ketch posted a movie somewhere of him using it I believe.... its pretty slick.

We will.. and also im sure there will be 1000 people recording the accessory demo at NAB in our booth and putting it up on youtube.

These are looking AWESOME!! I'm really pumped to play with them at NAB :-)

Looking at all of them, I could see wanting something that'd grab the weaver rail but then just have a 1/4 and 3/8 holes, very simple and small. Basically this but but two tapped holes instead of the rosette

Wow, Jarred, you almost got 5 hours sleep ;)

I just ordered the "The Clutch" - I also ordered the RED ONE Riser.

Is the EPIC riser included with the X kit or will that be up later?

thanks!

I think I am just now realizing the awesomeness of the Red Quick Pro Release System! Going from tripod to handheld is going to be super easy now if I'm understanding eveything correctly.
