  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Yup.. Ignoring his religious and political views for a moment, the guy sure knows a thing or two about running a tight ship.
 
my epic m is #01095 , am I on PRIORITY 4.1 or PRIORITY 3?

still haven't received any email. :/
 
Good question, Charles. At NAB 2013, we had a period where only early adoptors (people who ordered RED ONE before we started shipping them), EPIC-M owners, and people who had just bought EPIC-X within 30 days of NAB 2013. This priority period to pre-order was Monday AM to Thursday AM. After Thursday AM of that week, it was open season - anyone with an EPIC (be it -X or -M) could place a pre-order.

So, what Jarred is saying is that every person who ordered during that priority period (Mon AM - Thu AM) has been notified that their camera is eligible for upgrade.

All upgrades are being processed by date/time stamp. So, you will get an email that it is eligible based upon your date/time stamp of your pre-order.

I'm a purest Trevor. While Red is extremely important to me, so is Star Wars. I had to match that image to the film grade anyways :)

Though I did have my own free take on the thing versus the orginal:

Vader's lightsaber is the correct color though :)
 
Ah, but are you matching the digitally remastered grade or the original technicolor grade? Now that's being a purist!

Fantastic work and great seeing things moving along.

We received our Dragon OLPF upgrade a couple weeks back and just rocked it on a music video this past weekend.

Hi Guys,

sorry I forgot, from when on was it possible to preorder EPIC M Dragon as new Cameras?

are the EPIC M new Cameras also processed in row of ordering time or all ready to be pushed out immediately depending on when one is ready to pay ?

Is it possible to give just a rough estimate on how long until all EPIC M Dragon new Camera Orders are through up until the ones that are placed now.

it would really help to make the correct buying Decision just to roughly know if i place a EPIC M Dragon new Camera Order now how long that could possible take until it is ready, vs buying a Carbon. like more a couple Weeks, or many more months / Fall / Winter.

Jarred or Brent - Only slightly OT, but in all this Dragon news, are the trade-ins, Scarlet for Epic, still proceeding quickly alongside these Dragonizing activities?

Alex, we began taking preorders at NAB 2013. We do have some ready to go now, but - in all honesty - not enough to cover the current orders already it for it. But the good news is the lines for carbon fiber, for upgrade, and for new EPIC-M aluminum are all dedicated lines. So, more EPIC-M aluminums will be made each day.

Tough to say on ETA, all depends on the take rate for the preorders in the system. But know our plan is certainly not "many, many more months" : )

Yes, sir. SCARLET for EPIC M-X and EPIC DRAGON, not affected. If anything, with more lines on the floor, we can process more orders per month of those.
