Nice Tom!! Looking forward to any images, tests, anything you want to share is invaluable. Including data rates!

Thank you for you time and effort your are putting into this!

it doesnt do very well on MX sensor and it does hotpixels lower than 10fps.
Min lowest fps is 1 on MX not like seconds.

You have to black shade for long exposure, and the "hot pixels" will disappear.

Quick question Tom, I noticed your screen is flipped. Does that mean build 5 fixed the mirror flip issue for flip screen?

no mirror flip is not fixed.

I can't wait to see this footage.

Pretty incredibly results on that elephant eye shot.

Looking forward to do some of my own low light tests.

Thanks Tom

Hi.. Guys... Today I Saw this Page... any body know?

Amazing Capture

Below is the un-graded frame, converted from RAW and scaled to HD, followed by the final graded frame, courtesy of colourist Ian Vertovec (The Social Network, Girl With the Dragon Tattoo).

And here is a bonus frame, un-graded, shot at 6k, and downscaled to 4k.

Wow, thanks Vithya (and Tom too of course), I hadn't seen those other two pictures. The ungraded one shows very clearly what a nice job was done on the graded version. And the bonus picture looks so good I'm having trouble believing it wasn't also graded.

Is also interesting to see the darkening in the corners of the bonus picture. There were questions elsewhere about the extent of the Leica Summilux-C's vignetting at 6K, that picture probably answers some of those questions. Am wondering what focal length lens was used for that shot.

Are we still expecting Tom to post footage? or were those stills all he was legally allowed to provide given that he is on an IMAX shoot?

I believe tomorrow we'll have some footage.
Tom is (probably) finalizing some shots now, and the upload will obviously take a few hours.

So, since I haven't had the time to exhaustively comb these threads in search of all possible images posted,

Tom has only posted one grab, and then someone else added another one, but no video, just two grabs, right?

And please don't the defenders of the faith jump at me, I'm not attacking RED, Dragon or Tom, I'm merely asking in case there is more stuff and I haven't seen it.

You are correct.

It's unlikely I will post any video. I am shooting for an as-yet secret project and not sharing any footage at all, for more than a year now. Dragon performed 100% flawlessly. It's a dream.
