  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

DJI RONIN Group Buy

Zeb has spearheaded amongst the best non-RED Group Buy ever on this board. At minimum he deserves a Ronin for free.

Please follow the instructions on the webpage to secure your Group Buy Discount. You get the option of choosing your dealer on the 2nd page. We will honor the list in the order each RedUser posted "interest" on the page, I will personally update the list. The dealer of your choice will then be calling or emailing you within the next 2 business days, so at or before Tuesday.

The discount is 10% off retail no matter which dealer you choose, so total of $4049.10 is the final price.

Are there any other reviews available for us to read? I am kinda concerned that no one actually reviewed it yet.. (except ppl at DJI)
 
Did I miss the post that tells us what comes with the package? I can't seem to find anything on what we're putting a deposit down for. What exactly is included?
 
Ryan I agree... I definitely remember a post maybe a week ago saying that we will get those details this week. Am I missing something too?

I would really like to see it in action, too. Can't we get someone on reduser (presumably Zeb) to check it out before the GB window closes? If it's only 10% off, I'd pay that for a little peace of mind. I'd like to know if it has any weaknesses, etc.
 
I just find it hilarious that people are hellbent to throw down a deposit on a package we know nothing about. For example, is the price just for the base unit? What's included? Is something like a thumbstick included? If not, how much extra is that going to be?

Are we getting a good deal for the base package but then getting overcharged on the accessories? I need a little more information before I commit. A video showing the product in action and a registration page doesn't do it for me.

Seriously?? after almost 300 buyers in this Group Buy .... ZEB is not getting any Recon...We are getting a 10% off retail price ( dealers are getting a better deal selling single units...intelligentUAS will give me 7% off on any given product without a word from my side....

No package deal listed?? Cmon guys ....this is a 1.5M dollar buy!! If I was told that we are getting 10% OFF RETAIL, but will be getting exclusive package items.....( at one point, I Remember Willis saying something about a killer custom case for this RUGB !! am I crazy here?? where are all the package info??

If this is what it is.....Than I am disappointed with my 4th place in line! seriously
 
+ I already have a dragon/ epic.....We knew AMP's were able to sell RED equips....no big surprise here! I guess for us that already have RED Cameras...the deal is:

1. 10% off retail
2. Priority shipments ( in order of interest)
3. ops....there is no 3!

From what I have been told, you guys are contacting DJI and selecting your dealer. DJI will then send those requests to me in the next couple of days. I will then contact all our buyers with actual purchase directions.
