I am just pausing to admire Demetri's fantastic list-making skills. From the looks of things, he even went to the trouble of making sure everyone's names are capitalized according to spec. I'm quite impressed by that. Excellent job, Demetri. These little tasks can be time-consuming.

Agreed. I'm using his list as a great starting point to make the master PM check-off list. Love the help!
 
I'm in for one haven't seen my name added to the list :)
 
1. Hopefully the universal mount would be adaptable to be as "universal" as possible; steadycam, easy-rig, jib, multi-rotor, car mount. A kit for different configurations.
2. Transmitter/receiver for 2nd operator standard rather than option. I also thought that the iPad controller for the gStabiH14 was nice icing on the cake.
 
I'm waiting to hear back from AMP and DJI on this Group Buy. Might have blown their minds with the amazing RU response - we're closing in on $750K in stated interest!

I'm working hard for you guys . . . please be patient while we iron out the details.

Just to clarify my position. I am definitely getting this. My concern is that I am based in Japan.
DJI is literarily next door to me. Buying unit from them via an American reseller seems counter-productive.
There is double the shipping and customs handling / taxes involved as there is no trade agreement between Japan and the states.
So as long as my end cost doesn't exceed the cost of me buying it directly from DJI - I am in...

Late as usual, but definitely INTERESTED!

What is the current payload that this can take?
 
I've heard both 15 & 16lbs. DJI is going with even stronger motors on the production units so I'm confident that it will fly a pimped out Epic
 
Zeb, when do you suppose we'll get all the deal details — a week, two weeks, a month?

Please don't answer "very soon" ;)
 
15-16lbs is pretty good as a start point depending on price of the unit.
