[Justin Marx]

Or come to RED and buy an extra Mount for $2k!!!!

[Doug Beatty]

IMHO, C300>F3

but that's because I'm invested in Canon glass- Scarlet will probably change this.

[Joel Kaye]

30-300mm how could any one work with that beast?

I wonder who they listened to at Hollywood to make such a thing?.

Pat

Everyone who likes an Optimo.

steve ... i buy a canon mount for my epic but i don't have it for the moment ....

[Tim Hole]

It looks like canon will have a nice selection of new lenses. I'm more excited about that than the camera. I'm just ready for the Scarlet announcement.

Indeedy!!

These grabs are annoying. Will wait and see something with real resolution before I pass judgement, although I will believe Mike Seymour's observations. The camera looks kind of messy to me. Would have to play around with one to see if it actually makes sense.

So come on Canon...Spec's and price????

[Benoît-Joan Clariana-Roig]

50 mb yay.....

An hacked GH2 can go up to 176 mb with GOP1 mode..

The Canon lenses will be perfect on the Scarlet Cinema 4K version.

Not much of a difference in focal lengths. There's a market out there.

Ok... so a handfull... If they can make a profit out ouf this very special lens.

[Anthony Cote]

The new lenses look alot like the Zeiss compact primes. Cool camera but not interested in it personally.....onto Scarlet

[James Carlsen]

hahah, another canon REP.. Canons WOBBLY rolling shutter is so much better! NOT

Nope - NOT a canon rep. At all. Hate canon's RS.
But before something is discarded a BS... Perhaps one should have a GOOD look at its image.

[Carey Lee Coffey]

Lens included?

[nicolas de chateau thierry]

if the scarlet is low cost ... SSD RED media is expensive ...

[Aaron Power]

canon just shit the bed.

watch the forum blow up to 30,000 in no time. better get your cash ready gents.

[Perry Wilson]

if these specs are true then it was a waste of time... because panasonic made this same turd a year or so ago

[James Carlsen]

Listen folks, there's no way Canon called a "hollywood global event" to unvail a 1080p cam, so let's just stop talking about that possibility.

[Tehben Dean]

I really want to hear more about the primes.
