  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Canon 300c Specs as they come

iPad WEBAPP! :D It was in Safari. I predict lag.

Also:
6:25PM "Literally, you can just take this camera and go make a movie."

Sounds a little 'make your own movie!' to me.

But - will only judge when we've heard some specs.

Is it me or does that look familiar!

Red blows it again. First and foremost - this is what happens when a small company (RED) gives away a good idea 5 years before they can actually produce a working prototype; they get their butts handed to them by the big boys. Loose lips sinks ships and I don't know how RED stays afloat with all the chatter. Don't you know the entire content of Japan was built on intellectual theft? Why do you keep helping them steal from you? The first time anybody ever head the word 'Scarlet' should have been a week before it's release. I didn't buy a Red One four years ago because I was waiting on a Scarlet... since then I've owned ten other cameras - not a single one of them a Red because they keep dangling the carrot that never materializes. Canon and Panasonic on the other hand have made a mint off of me, mainly because when I was buying cameras like the Mark II they weren't telling me how awesome the Mark III was going to be when it's released next month, no next month, no next month..... Second - the Scarlet announcement should have been last night. Canon's shindig today would have been an afterthought if Red had come out last night and dunked on them - assuming of course Red actually has a product read to bring to the market.

I think this cam is supposed to compete with the Epic. Not the Scarlet.
The Epic has already been available for some time, while this camera is just getting announced. Canon would've 'stolen' the concept eitherway.

I hearby dub thee the Plastic Fantastic.

Now let's hand the evening over to someone who knows how to make professional movie cameras...

Mike

Engadget: "6:33PM Got a shot in a jail cell on screen that's looking fairly noisy."

6:34PM Didn't see much of that in the first film, but it looks a bit worse than the picture we're accustomed when we go to the local movie theater.
