Canon 300c Specs as they come

[Todd Brisson]

Bahaha, classic Canon!! Now T-minus 43 minutes for Red! atriot:

[Curt Schulz]

$20k? Goodbye Canon, hello Scarlet!

[JamieW]

"inb4"? English, please!

Inb4 meaning I'm posting before they drop that hidden camera model hiding in the background.

[emil tanem]

The 7D is actually close to 5stops in video mode. Perhaps 6-7 if you press the settings

[Peter D Claproth]

And it costs $20K! They're even copying Scarlet's price now! Sick 'em, Jesus, I mean Jim!

Too funny!

40 minutes to go!

[Benoît-Joan Clariana-Roig]

At last - a serious competitor to the RED ONE.

(or would be if it shot raw)

Mike

[Kyle Gentz]

"This camera can be used anywhere in the world, in any production, for any reason. It looks as good as anything out there."

Sounds like hes begging us to try it.

[James Carlsen]

*shakes head* $20k....wow. I mean truly wow. I almost fell out of my chair. What is historic is the disconnection between Canon and their audience of users.

An EPIC Disconnection ;-)

[Justin Marx]

I just don't get it...

[Cenydd Ros]

"Canon plays practical joke on film community."
...suckers

~~ actually, seeing some good stuff about/from this camera.

[Carey Lee Coffey]

I'm RED for life.

[Bryce O]

The 7D is actually close to 5stops in video mode. Perhaps 6-7 if you press the settings

Ok, I'm no Canon fanboy... and Canon did drop the ball here... but the 7D is not 5 stops. It's been measured countless times at around 10-11 stops. Stop being naive.

[Arnold F.]

Scorsese, La Foret, etc. Clearly, unlike RED products, Canon is all hype.

[Anthony Cote]

and thats a wrap....no mention of that DSLR with the c300 logo.......goodbye Canon HELLO RED IN 40 MINUTES!
