  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

just so everyone knows.. Who Me is the same person as Justme, and Salatar... some of you may remember the Salatar name the most as he is the user i have received more complaints about than anyone else in the history of Reduser and DVXuser, combined.

He called me once, i thought we made up, but i guess not.

We just dont get along, so its best just to part ways...
 
I think it refers to the focusing centerline on the CMOS chip. I could be wrong though. Apparently he doesn't like it. Or maybe he's just looking to aggravate Jarred, who put the fire out before it got too out of control.

It would be nice to be able to put faces with the user names... which reminds me, Is any one going to Sundance? It would be great to get togather and have a reduser or red reservation holder party. One of the strongest parts of the red revolution in my opinion is the community atmosphere behind the camera. it would be nice to meet some of you in person. i went to the red Sundance party last year and met several other reservation holders from my area. ( I remember meeting pixelchef in particular). Also it would be extreemly cool to get together and watch footage shot on red.

So, anyone interested in a party?

or is there already a party planned and I'm just not invited? :sad:
 
my business partner said that there was a party. he is there currently. however I have not heard anything about it. anyone?
 
the RED party at sundance this year is not our RED party.. it happens to be the name of one of the features there ( that wasnt shot on RED ). Weve been getting calls about it all month.

Unfortunately we are too busy getting cameras out the door to go this year, I imagine there would be quite a few pissed off reservation holders out there if they knew we were drunk and face down in a cabin in park city instead of picking and packing their cameras :)

That what i said to him when I expressed uncertainty. But he likes to party whilst in Park City so maybe I shouldn't break it to him and see if he can make it in anyway.

There will be other times to party. Next year I bet there will be more than one party hosted by filmmakers that used the red on their productions.

Face down drunk? As I remember it you spent most of the night freezing your butt off on the deck last year. (holly cow it was cold that night) Man I must have left too early.

How could that possibly work? If anything could improve your already-recorded footage, it would have to be something new in Red Alert or Redcine. Well, alright, I guess the question wasn't serious.
