  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey sorry guys... We have them.. but we are still waiting for final regulatory emissions passing after we upgraded one of the components. We have been given a 2nd week of October day but don't hold us to it.. this one is out of our control.

Thank you government for delaying my viewfinder. Trying to stimulate the economy with rentals and filmmaking, but you are getting in the way. Those pesky viewfinders are always releasing toxic clouds.

good news, one question though, are you making good quantities of them for a wide release?
 
Absolutely. They are sitting in our warehouse, just waiting on the green light.

One of the rare occasions on this site where I am truely impressed with the cinematography. Top job, well done!(content is not to my taste,quite 90ties, but that does not take anything away from the execution)

Jarred, going forward will the Epic, Scarlet, and any subsequent electronic (accessory) component related to those camera be exposed to the same regulatory review?

Yep. Any electronic device has to be certified for compliance with RF noise emissions regs.
 
Thanks David, are these reviews generally time intensive, ie long review period?

Yup, it's illegal to sell electronic equipment in the US that does not comply to the appropriate FCC regulations.

( See the FCC logo on the label on the bottom of your RED ONE - it's next to the CE one )
