I get and other two Red One's months ago and I'm waiting for the EVF or Red Pro LCD now my cameras looks like a car whitout wheels.

Or get a SmallHD - it's a great on-set monitor of sorts, and a great jib 2nd monitor.

Based on what you know now, do you still expect to have exhausted the backordered first generation EVF orders by the end of this month?

People have put down good money for deposits on BEVFs, based on time estimates of Red coming out of backorder on them.
It'd show a lot of respect to those customers if you can give an indication of shipping dates, even if they may slip a little.

Speaking as a person with one of the first BEVF deposits placed, I think they have been relatively, and unusually, clear about their planned BEVF delivery.

Red hopes to have all EVF back orders fulfilled by the end of this month ... or early September. Then they will begin to drop the bombs in an orderly fashion as they become available.

IMHO ... The future availability of longer (8 minutes+) media is a lot scarier. :blink:

The media void is seriously affecting a lot of people right now.

Not strange ("funny") at all.

I was asking if anything had changed from the anticipated schedule.

That schedule is found in the first post of this thread as stated by Jarred.

Next week another small batch goes out, we have a heavy backorder on EVFs as many of you know, so those will be fulfilled first. We expect to be out of backorder by the end of August.

The difference in long form media is that no schedule has been announced whatsoever.

That's a very big difference.
