  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

just temporary... went into backorder a couple weeks ago and will be out in a couple weeks.

Now this has just become really confusing. I suppose that Joel was asking about Ti Canon Scarlets, and Brent mentioned in the other thread that they will start shipping only after all separate Ti Canon mount orders will be fulfilled.

So are Ti Canon Scarlets actually shipping now or were you referring to Ti PL Scarlets, Jarred?
 
I suspect it was Ti Pl Scarlets that are shipping every day even though I secretly wish it was the Ti Canon Scarlets...

Sorry for the confusion... Ti pl Scarlett's are shipping everyday, and Ti canon mounts.

Yeah I was talking about ti canon mount. Nobody Alive would miss that Ti Pl are shipping since 17 =)

Ok if I refrase the question to canon ti scarlets?
Does this mean no ti canon mount scarlets this year or before mid jan?
 
I think a huge portion of Scarlet buyers are not familiar with the Red philosphy. Believe me, Red is doing there best as they have been down this road before with the Red One, and now Epic and Scarlet.

Not to be an ass about it, but I recommend looking elsewhere in the meantime (possibly all together if you're going to constantly bitch) if you're not prepared to be patient. I've waited for nearly 3 years to simply place an order on Scarlet S35/ Epic Lite/ Epic-S/ Scarlet-X. As you know it has been an ever changing landscape, but the finish line is in sight!

It is foolish to complain about not being able to schedule projects, etc. Rent a damn camera if you need too, otherwise take a step back (a much needed breath of fresh air) and realize you are in a crazy good position. You are in line for the most sought after, affordable, top-of-the-line digital cinema camera system ever created! Expect delays and a long wait. Doing otherwise is foolish and will only drive you crazy, lose you paid gigs, and distract the Red elves from their work!

I hate to say it because i dont want my order purposfuly delayed ;) but i'm preparing myself for a several month wait. And yes I ordered in the first two hours on Nov. 3rd. My philosophy for everything Red is "better late than never at all!"

How's the shipping department holding up? Poor guys must be getting hammered. I've got some a Ti mount that's been allocated but still no word from shipping. Seeing as my shop closes Wed I'm starting to get concerned...

but TI canon Scarlet´s not i guess - and sadly that´s the combination which counts for me :-(
not a problem at all, so i will be one of the happy 2012 scarlet owners :-)))

uuups, missed that update...
did i read that correct and does that mean, scarlets with ti canon mount will not ship before mid january ?
will i get it faster when i change to a scarlet ti pl mount and order a 17-50 plus a seperate ti canon mount ???
or will this change get me away from my position in the line ?

Hi Jarred
any chance of an update regarding the Redmotes as my Deep Atom can only be controlled by Redmote and we are expecting delivery in The new year?
