  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Order fulfillment is driven by order date, not serial #. Did you order and fund all of the items at the same time Did you accept the first allocation of those accessories, or did you opt to defer on them until the cam was allocated? Did you change your order at all? Any of those things could cause you to slip in the queue.

I am also a little mystified.. A colleague ordered his camera 3 weeks after me ( identical orders) and is receiving everything but the Brain this week. I have heard nothing. Its a moot point until the camera arrives so I'll hold off passing judgement.

But when did you each complete deposit funding? That can impact where you land in the queue.
 
Jarred, can you give us any information about the Nikon mount? Not asking for an ETA... just in-for-ma-tion.

If you haven't even gotten an introductory email from a rep then you should give Red a call. I ordered at Christmas time and was assigned a rep within a few weeks.
 
I heard from my rep shortly after the order was placed so that is all good.. Its a none issue until the cameras get allocated. So I shall be patient.

I would LOVE to test out the Dual module. I have to keep my camera package very compact MOST of the time so I am very excited about this Dual module.

Wow really off topic and out of the blue, but it's ok. lol

I believe the answer is either two or four (taking 3D into account), not 100% though. I can't see needing anymore than two (for 3D) though. Maybe someone who knows a definite answer can chime in?

I believe there are some who are still missing theirs from the 3rd and some who have theirs from what I've read.
 
Hi Robert, thanks for that info. So it seems that they are still fulfilling orders from the Nov 3rd round.
Someone should have developed an app (probably a very complex algorithm) for when you ordered your camera/stage # and when you had to put your order in for accessories to have all parts show up at the same time.

I was given the option to receive everything at once or get items as they become available. I ordered a Scarlet Al Canon Package on Dec. 29. I got most of the accessories, just waiting on the Brain, side handle, and LCD. Apparently it should make the process quicker and easier if they ship things as they become available.

Will the dual module have aux power? Dtap or lemo? And USB for the redmote?
