$25K for a Dragon Epic? Gauntlet thrown.

Hi Doug!

Jim states that the new priced EPIC-X won't have the dragon upgrade path.

[Peter Dmitriyev]

speechless

$6k for Dragon upgrade does not apply for purchases made at new prices.

[Chris Jordan]

Feel bad for my buddy who just spent $50k only 4 months ago on epic package..... yikes....

Mountains rumble ... sea parts !

Hi Doug!

Jim states that the new priced EPIC-X won't have the dragon upgrade path.

I don't think that's what he said

[Cory Braun]

Jim, will RED One M owners still be able to upgrade to MX, even though the RED One is End of Life?

[AndrewThomas]

The consternation this causes will be epic.

[Derek Morrison]

Don't know if it's out of place, but is there a reduction in the RED ONE M-X Upgrade, too?

Just curious, as I still have the original Mysterium in my RED ONE.

Thanks!

Would like to know the same info.

Red is on the offensive! 4000 USD for a 4k+ cinema camera... Amazing! Maybe it's time to buy one to complete the collection

[Daniel Pearson]

Time to cancel my BT and order a new Scarlet to gain the full year?

$7950 is brain only, I'm sticking with my BT order for the SSD and Canon mount...

But a $4000 Red One MX? Tempting...

[John Marchant]

Interesting new prices. I think RED Europe are expecting my cal in the morning

Side question: Is EPIC monochrome now X, not M?

[Webster Miller]

What was a great camera at a great price just became . . . . .

(speechless)

[Chase M. Wrenn]

I cannot believe this...ow, I hit my head...it's real!!!

[Joseph Ward]

Thank You!!!!!:emote_happyhappy:

"4.5K RED ONE M-X Battle Tested- $4000 (includes CF or SSD recording module)"

THIS IS SO COOL! even though it's old... $4000?? RAD!

[Joel Arvidsson]

Wow, Scarlet is still plenty good!! But looking in to the Epic territory for sure.

[Jannard]

You can upgrade EPIC to Dragon. It will cost $6,000. We are looking at the other questions.

Jim

Hi Doug!

[Mackenzie McLean]

Is the "/" in between the 5k and the 4k maybe a subtle hint that Scarlet will soon be able to do 5k 24fps, via firmware upgrade?
