  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Attitude adjustment...

Hmm, was really hoping for clarification on what might lay ahead for current scarlet owners. This is great news for new buyers obviously.

But short of dumping the scarlet there's no way we'll be able to jump to Epic. :\

biggest question of all. What are USED pre owned epics gonna go for now? There are many as we speak being sold anywhere from 30-50k (with package ofcourse). What are the prices for used epics gonna be now?? 12-15k for epic-x brain??

Amazing.

Red-volution ver 2.0.

Welp, those Battle Tested Scarlets werent *quite* so sweet after all. Still, saving $800 bucks isn't ever bad. I guess.

I wished I had paid a bit more to get the full warranty, but who's complaining? I'm just glad I held off on that Epic Monochrome purchase.

EDIT: Good point about the SSD and Canon mount, I feel better now.

Hi Doug!

Jim states that the new priced EPIC-X won't have the dragon upgrade path.

No, read carefully; he said it's not *included*:

"Dragon sensor upgrade is not included for any EPIC system purchased at the new pricing going forward"

Which is slightly confusing I admit, since AFAIK Dragon upgrade has never been 'included' in any EPIC pricing. I understand it to mean that it'll be a higher price upgrade for these cameras, and lower for earlier purchases; the cameras are identical and ANY Epic can be upgraded to Dragon.
