In bold letters and 96pt font. Once we get from "Scarlet-W pre sale (Raven)" to "Scarlet-W has been announced" point in the queue, everyone is in the same line.

exactly, the only switchers that have priority are the ones that preordered the raven before the official scarlet-w preorder, so look at the raven preorder as a scarelt-w pre-preorder.I don't understand either, although I'm pretty sure once we hit the point in the queue where the Scarlet-W was announced, it's all based on time stamp. So if I bought a Raven today, then swapped to Scarlet-W, then my time stamp is for the end of March, not at the tail end of everyone switching from Raven, THEN ordering a Scarlet. I'm pretty sure that's what they're doing.
Then scarlet upgraders/non upgraders (non switchers) from december until now should also be fulfilled before NAB. Weird that it's not mentioned more clearly then.exactly, the only switchers that have priority are the ones that preordered the raven before the official scarlet-w preorder, so look at the raven preorder as a scarelt-w pre-preorder.
means if you have a Raven order in, and tomorrow you swapped to Scarlet-W, you probably will get your Scarlet-W before NAB, assuming the accessories are available that you order. The "up till next week" part is best case... if tomorrow a bazillion people read this news and jump from Raven to Scarlet-W to get their cameras sooner, then that line of course gets longer and extends out past NAB.

Not to rain on anyone's parade in Scarlet-W land but I'm pretty certain you guys are denying the reality of what Jarred posted haha. I asked him point blank what it meant and this is his response:
If you ordered a RAVEN after W announcement and before sometime next week, and you choose to switch over to W, you get allocated a W before NAB. Or it was that a few hours ago. Now, it might extend a bit past NAB, but you do get a camera. What that means for normal W orders from Dec. 10 and beyond and S-D upgrades, I am not super sure. Though, clearly there is a push towards S-W because they have too many people on RAVEN. So I know its a tough pill to swallow... but I think that's the honest truth.
Lemme try and simplify... i can see how that got confusing, i fixed my first post.
If you ordered a RAVEN BEFORE the SCARLET-W announcement, and then switched to SCARLET-W, you should be fulfilled in the next week or so ( up to the 5th )
If you ordered a RAVEN AFTER the SCARLET-W announcement, and then switched to SCARLET-W, you should be fulfilled after the above, but before NAB.
Its actually a bit hard to calculate this since accessories are a major part of all this and the orders are all a random mix of different parts.. so it all depends on which accessories you ordered. And of course... in the next couple days if some people switch a long lead item to a short lead item that short lead item becomes longer.
And to top it all off we still are doing alot of Dragon to Weapon upgrades every day, and those guys get to pick up their pieces first.
if you switch up until next week, not if you newly order a raven and then switch, then he went back on that because of all the switchers.
then brent clarified that this is by time stamp and there are no cuts in line, meaning that the switchers before nab is about the people that ordered before scarlet-w were announced.
I believe this is the proper order for W:
1. Pre-W RAVEN orders (fulfilled by March 31-April 7th)
2. Post-W RAVEN orders (fulfilled by NAB or soon after)
3. S-D Upgrades
4. S-W orderers
yes, but the After the scarlet-w statement was back tracked soon after that and not promising nab because of the over load of switchers. and bret clarified that its by time stamp after scarlet-w announcement, meaning even if you didnt have a raven order you are still correctly in the que by time stamp, a late raven order does not get you priority. That's not what Jarred said haha. See below:
combining brents and jarreds responses into one, because its not always clear by one update, i believe its more like this:
1.raven orders, switched to scarlet-w (fulfilled in april sometime, no longer guaranteed by NAB, but if you ordered raven in the first few days, then probably)
2.scarlet-w announcement and scarlet-w preorders (fulfilled completely by timestamp, no prority for D orders, that was made hugely clear, they get a discount but no priority in que)

Who said that? On red.com, on the product page, it's written "scarlet dragon owners will receive priority in the allocation queue".no prority for D orders, that was made hugely clear, they get a discount but no priority in que)
im not discounting anything, brent had a clarification about sticking to time stamps after jarreds statement lead to confusion. You can't just discount what Jarred said about post-W RAVEN switchers haha. Clearly they are trying to move people over there.
hmmm, well maybe they changed their mind, i remember there was a whole big discussion on who is first, raven switchers or dragon owners and i thought it was jarred saying the dragon owners dont get priority, just the discount. but that was along time ago.Who said that? On red.com, on the product page, it's written "scarlet dragon owners will receive priority in the allocation queue".
I really hope #2 isn't the case. That would be really crummy if an order placed months after the launch day get fulfilled first. How does that make any sense?
I'm secretly hoping that RED has enough Scarlet-W inventory to fulfill all the orders in the first two weeks and they are all just going "God damnit Josh, just shut up, you'll get your camera soon!" (Well... They might already be saying that! Haha)

cartman? haha!i 100% agree. That's a real solid punch in the nuts if I can order a Raven, then swap to Scarlet-W and move up a bunch of spots in line. Pretty sure Jarred is just talking about pre-preorders. Not post-announcement.
