  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Another taste...

If I had to venture a guess I'd say the most likely possibility is a SSD in a smaller form factor. Possibly 1.8" SSD drives, like this one from Sandisk. That's only 72GB though. I don't think anyone has come out with a 128GB one yet, although it won't be long.

Um...not to state the obvious, but hasn't there been a lot of talk about RED Ray?

That seems to be the obvious guess to me.

That would be funny if RedRayVTR can be, go on/used, with Scarlet and Epic? :)

More pieces...

Now THAT is teh sexxxy! :gun:

And a removable 128GB SSD would seriously rock! Any guesses as to what FPS speeds would be recorded onto one of those things?

Goddamn that is a handsome looking camera!

So Red Mag... SSD?

Is there any way to integrate some connectivity "without" cables. Like a viewfinder that "slots" in for connection.

I am looking at all the places in the renders where a cable might go and I am seeing a beautiful camera obscured by a sea of spaghetti.

Looks nice though!

I would be both solely surprised and disappointed if cables were used to connect the modules. I think it's pretty obvious there will be a standard connector on each module.

By the time this system will be available, we probably have 1024GB SSDs with writespeeds above 300MByte/s.
